Geekie is money in the bank in terms of goal scoring. Last year, we as Bruins fans thought Geekie was a Pasta Merchant but not this year. Geekie is his own man; he scores with whomever he plays. He is so matter of fact about it too – very business like. Guy is a Bruins Monster. Since you guys are talking Bs, have you watched Minten's development by the Bs? Very methodical; Marco Sturm is building this kid up brick by brick to be the next Patrice Bergeron; the kids defense is unbelievable and he can score and Sturm is letting him sniff the 1st line too. If things go as they are going now, Minten will be centering Geekie and Pasta next year and that will be a dynamite 1st line.
It’s crazy how he’s a products of pasta, pasta was a product of Marchand and Bergeron, yet they could all be on their own and produce.
You miss all the shots you don’t take, tell me how many people can get a pass where you pull your hands together and send it, it’s a legit best ball thrown from a pitcher to choke you up

Huge Bruins fan here. Love Geekie but he is definitely a Pasta merchant. Pasta is a top three player in the league with hand skills better than anyone in the NHL. If Pasta had McKinnon or McDavid speed, he would score 100 goals every year.
Geekie is easily the best contract in the NHL. As far as dollars per goal
He’s got great mitts and an elite shot. Seeing him in Seattle he always had that fire and I will admit I never saw this coming but his work ethic is a testament to that he just gets better and better every year. Definitely elite and pasta merchant ehhh why does Marty Necas not get that treatment or Rust/Rakell, give him his credit.

Definitely not saying they are at the same level, but Geekie claiming to be a Pasta merchant would be like Draistaitl claiming to be a McDavid merchant, which just isnt true. They are each so talented in their own ways.
Pasta has commented on Geekie saying he has the best shot in the league and how he should easily be a 50 goal scorer every year. When it clicks, it clicks and I'm just happy he's on my squad while it did.
