Nice, the actual full video & no one better to call it how it truly is than Ken Daneyko. – Voronkov grabs Dillons head & neck from behind. If emotions got the best of him like Kenny suggested it still shows his maturity & character. A composed man handles his emotions, especially since nothing bad was done to him or his team & it's Dillons 1000th Game Night – a player w/any respect or class would've squared up. Dillon throws a punch with his glove & if you know puck you know it wasn't a fighting punch. -For casuals there are 3 main Types of Hockey Punches: ¹. Glove punch to shoulder area – more of a push away typical in post whistle scrums, usually immediate reaction to an opponent being too rough meaning get off / step back.
This is EXACTLY what Dillon did, but Voronkov is trash
². Glove Punch to opps. Face/Helmet – ²ª.This player typically initiates usually a dirty player disrespecting his opponent or a player who is an aggitator getting under the skin to draw a penalty there, later in the game, or simply mentally/emotionally mess their opponents game up. b.) Opponent denied a fight avoiding hockey code if he previously did something dirty to a star player earlier or the previous game. The gloved punch to face/head is a statement saying, whether you accept it or not my team & I are still getting you back.
If you throw a punch at someone while your teammate is holding him back, you deserve a 3 piece combo. Sucks he fell on his head but I bet he learned a lesson.
Devils tried to punk the Jackets with their Heavyweight Champion on the bench, they ended up getting punked with the fights and the game. Good luck next time Devils when Olivier is back.
I can see why people think Voronkov jumped him sorta but Dillon being a veteran tough player should’ve got the cue especially after throwing a few gloved punches.
Voronkov is a smart guy. He saw what Dillon tried to do which was kill Fantelli who was vulnerable and he two handed tried to kill him but missed Fantelli's head. That's when Voronkov saw that and grabbed Dillon and gave Dillon what he deserved. Dillon is a dirty player so he got what he deserved.

Я помню момент, когда этот урод Диллон сломал Капризова! Воронков, спасибо, отомстил!!!
