  1. 11 goals in 2 games since Quinner got to the Wild. The Wild were way down towards the bottom of a bunch of categories. Zone entries. Zone exits, etc. Quinn is the best at that. So, it's not coincidence. And, the Wild are doing it with 7 regulars out.

  2. Wild are red hot. Too bad two of the top 3 teams in the Central for '25-'26 will be eliminated early in the playoffs. The current playoff format is lame.

  3. This is by far the best roster in Wild history. Multiple talented players and great depth and defense. The Avs are favored to win the division but Wild shouldn’t be just a first round exit. With Hughes on the team. The expectations have to be winning the Stanley Cup.

  4. They got Quinn Hughes for the playoffs really , he doesn’t clear the front of the net he doesn’t win battles on the boards or in the corners, he overhandles the puck and his shot from the point is weak, he gets his points but so does the other team when he’s on the ice, last time he was in the playoffs they shot the puck to his corner and he dissapeared.

  5. What is with people constantly using the term Bear now? Never heard it before the past month. Must be the nee fad word. And it will dissappear in due short time. Rightfully so.

  6. I like the trade for both teams. My prediction after watching QH in Vancouver all this time: Extremely skilled offensively and adept with the puck, BUT can be made completely obsolete in physical hard nosed play. The Pred's Sherwood effectively neutralized Hughes two years ago in the playoffs and Huges was injured and ineffective vs the Oilers in the second round. I just don't think QH is big and durable enough to battle long playoff series vs heavy playoff hockey teams. IMHO

  7. This is why the NHL needs to go back to the way playoff seeding was before this crap. One of the best teams will be done in the first round because of this crappy format.

  8. Quinn is a master from a Vancouver fan but if we look at it objectively, he carries the plays a lot and can be game planned to minimize the damage. However, vancouver looks more balanced now and having fun ..

  9. Everyone is going on about Minnesota as if they are a dynasty best team ever. It is rediculous they have never won squat. Don't get carried away as of right now they are just a team. Maybe by the end of the year they will change my mind. Minnesota barely ever wins a playoff round lmao

  10. as someone who doesn't follow the wild, what are your guys' take on their centre and overall forward depth?

  11. Quinn Hughes during his first post game interview with the sports media after the Boston Bruins game, he was noticed to be smiling during his interview. The media members took noticed of that, Hughes rarely ever smiled when talking to the media before coming here to Minnesota. I'm just letting you know, it's probably not important but it maybe!?

  12. Canucks Fan here.I think Vancouver Won this Trade . I Love Quinn but hes not an effective Playoff player he gets Hurt. I think ZEEE will b close to as Good and maybe more well suited for the Playoffs. Oh and we Got 3 more 1st rounders including a Solid 2C. Im pulling for Quinn and Minnesota and I hope it ends up as a Good trade for both Teams. Time will TELL !!!

  13. The central is a fucking blood bath. Wild Stars Avs.

I’ll take our chances. Maybe not this year. Maybe not next. But the window is WIDE open. Wally/Gus are genuinely the best goalie pairing in the league. A team with depth.

    Bring it on.
