McMann slash on Bjorkstrand and more – Tough Call Recommendation

Bobby McMann delivered a high, retaliatory slash to Oliver Bjorkstrand.

  1. Under your system? No arguments. How it should be. But under the NHL system that largely only goes by outcomes? I can't believe he got suspended 1 game, considering everything else they let go. Bjorkstrand, amazingly, had no reaction to the slash, which seems like it wasn't very forceful. And he has no history. Game misconduct and 5k fine by NHLs standards

  2. I give Oliver Bjorkstand a fine 2K for cross checking Bobby McMann suspended 7 games for slacking Max Crozier fined 5,200$ for cross checking/roughing

  3. Only one game is such a joke. Player safety means nothing in the NHL. Using the stick as a weapon is supposed to be a long suspension. Chopping down like a lumber jack is only one game? Guys should do it more often and target star players if it is only one game 😅

  4. In Canada, players (Ciccarelli, McSorely, Chara) on US teams who commit on ice infractions get off ice consequences. Players (Matthews, Gallagher, McMann) on Canadian teams get no more than league suspensions. Why the double standard?
