  1. In general: Slower. Unnecessary penalty’s and turnovers. Defensemen forgetting about body checks and booming slap shots from the point. Very lumpy on-ice hockey IQ. Btw, anyone know where LaFreniere has gone? I see his jersey on ice but the house is vacant. I was honestly hoping for a Kreider goal but there was a subtle sadness to his play. Trouba on the other hand was looking for any chance to score especially in first period.

  2. Nothing will change until they get a new GM from outside the organization. And clean house in the front office. 4 coaches in 5 years shows that its not the coaching staff. Its the players and the guy that built this roster and destroyed the culture inside the organization.

  3. I'm getting tired of Sullivan. His system doesn't generate offense. Everything is coming from the outside. The 5 forward power play is a complete joke. Giving up a SHG at 5 on 3? Pathetic. Why David Quinn is back with this organization is a mystery to me. Wasn't the first time bad enough?

  4. Their goaltender was far and away better than the $11.5 million man. Dostal gave his team a chance to win with a terrific first period and then that huge PP save on Trocheck in the 2nd, that ends with a SH 'own' goal at the other end that could have been stopped if Igor kept the paddle down. Igor also lets in a goal at 1-1 that he absolutely needs to stop but he took his time getting across the crease thinking Gauthier wouldn't one-time that puck. This guy just isn't that much better, if at all, than most of the top-tier goalies in this league. And we have most assuredly being 'goalied' much more often than we have goalied our opponents this season. I am actually glad Quick is in goal tomorrow instead of Igor.

  5. Overall, you have to be a special kind of incompetent to piece together a roster like this. And Drury most certainly is just that. Like, how many dime-a-dozen scrubs can you have on one NHL team? Raddysh, Sheary, Carrick, Rempe, Brodzinski, and everyone on the back end except Fox and Gavrikov. Berard and Robertson could be included in that group too. Then you have the top 6 comprised of 30-somethings that seem to get slower by the game. And a hugely disappointing first overall pick in Laffy who shows up every 3 or 4 games. It's a slow, plodding collection of skaters with virtually no upside. How Chris Drury is still employed is one of life's great mysteries, until you remember who the dude is that signs all the pay cheques. This team is going to be toast by mid-January, and the only thing that can make it worse is if ol' Drury deals away one or both of our first-round picks in a very good draft in a futile attempt to try and sneak us into a wild card spot this season. And you know he probably will, because he might see it as the last chance to save his job. What does he care if we trade away the pick(s) … one of which is looking like a lottery pick at this moment in time? He won't be around to deal with the fallout.

  6. Get Sheary out of the top 6 and give it up on the 5 forward PP it's a disaster.. 1 player gets hurt and your switching more players outta their spots.. FFS … next man up on the PT … Morrow/Schneider .. Robertson even FFS .. stop vet lovin and give a kid a chance to prove himself,,, just dumbass asset management IMO

  7. The good thing about this season is that the coach won’t be fired after game 82(or after next season or the next one). We need stability behind the bench. Upstairs? I don’t know.

  8. Similar set of issues last night as most of the year…just not enough high-end offensive talent. Played a good defensive game against a very high scoring team.

  9. stop trying to take credit for playing 2 "good" periods all the time. "we didn't play good enough to win, period!" end of press conference

  10. We had enough of this organization. It's finally time for a true rebuild for this team. We lack youthful talent on broadway and on the farm that's all on Drury. He should've been fired already. Just start selling piece by piece for prospects and high draft picks. Mika, Panarin, Trocheck, laffy, Fox and maybe Igor . Let the kids play . Do I trust Drury to do this? No but we have no say in the matter. Load up on prospects and draft picks which the cupboard is bare right now.
