Dobes had a big win. You gotta play the winning goalie. This is the mistake Marty made over and over again early in the season and the reason for our hardships.
Dobes must be the starter next game.
We can still win the division. If we had got Crosby in the summer, 100%, we would win the division.
What could we get from the oilers if they wanted a jarry/monty tandem?
Fowler/Monte-Philly, Monte-CGO, Monte-PB, Ask Fowler if he wants to face Sidney, then close out with Dobi-BO. I have for seen it to work!

Thinking how MSL thinks, Dobesh against the Philly’s is probably most likely since coming off a hug win, good in shootouts, MSL keeps it safe. But also I think he wants us to be entertained so he might send in Fowler. Btw, love saying that name in the long run, I swear!
No on Danault 5A & 5.5Million a year contract until 2027
I think the Oilers time with Mcdavid and Draisitle is coming to an end especially if they don't win it all this year. They are in a similar boat as the leafs (though the leafs boat is sinking much faster). If I'm Hughes, I'm making a play of either player because dropping Liane contract gives us the ability to pay them. We have the prospects and the draft picks to make this trade. And bring in another top 4 true defenseman and let's get off to the races.
If Monty is well & can play, he should start as these days off may well have given him a boost.

You don't change a goalkeeper every other game, especially if he plays well.So it’s DOBES until he gets tired. Fowler is still really young and he can be placed in the game when we have back to back games.Monty is 1 season goalie.My personal opinion.I hope I am wrong and he proves me wrong.MSL killed Dobes on the beginning of the season.He was playing outstanding and MSL kept bringing Monty back.Rookie coach.

Trade Mountainblow tout de suite aka right now while other teams are looking for a change in net . He was never a number one goalie but could be a good backup for another team. Mtl might get a draft pick or something. Fowler and Dobes will get better and compete every game. They are both young and eager. Please stop pumping the tires on “ Monty “ …. Just wishful thinking that he will come around etc. etc. his numbers don’t lie. Defence needs to get tougher and not just wave their sticks at players in front of the net, clear opposing players from the slot so your goalie can see where the puck is. Number 72 should be in the lineup every game because other teams are taking advantage of our smaller finesse defence. You want comments, there I said it again

I see more than you guys.If im coaching against the habs…i have one plan of attack.Hit the defence every chance you get and wear them out.Our team needs some more size up front.and a larry Robinson type D man.GHG
Calm down and don’t assume anything. They seem content to play .500 hockey so a loss vs the flyers is likely.
Unless they are planning to play Fowler at least 30 out of the last 50 games, then send him to Laval. He learns nothing sitting in the press box or sitting on the bench as a backup.
Run Fowler, give full runway to earn the spot. Give Dobes when Fowler needs the break. Then I don't know if this applies but is it game limit or else we burn the year on ELC? Or is that not a thing here…
Monty is the vet so should be able to handle the break and be disciplined to stay ready … Let him get his mental game back … Sounds like Monty is good at habits and routine

Once newhook and Dach back , it'll adjust the entire lineup to be more balanced …
