The Grand Rapids Griffins took down the Milwaukee Admirals, 6-4, improving their record to 20-1-0-1.
They are now tied with the 2004-05 Manchester Monarch (20-1-1-0) for the second best start in AHL history through 22 games. On top of that their 20-1-0-1 start to the season and 11-1 start at home is a franchise record.
The Griffins have outscored their opponent 90-43, and hold a 44-20 edge while playing at Van Andel Arena.
