not closing out games isn't new, they have had this issue for years. This year is the worst of it. The best defense is a great offense. Play hard for 60 minutes and do what got you the lead to begin with. That's my 2 cents
Theyre injured and cant maintain puck possession because of the injuries. If Sid simply says, "We need Geno, Lizotte, and Kulak in the lineup and we'll be fine."…Yeah i know hed never say that but the lack of depth is a thing (puck hounds and puck possession guys).

The amount of turn overs between #58 and #65 for such tenured players is ridiculous. Clifton looks like he is skating in mud. Hayes, Rakell and Sid each had zero shots on goal today. Why? A team total of 6 shots on goal in the 1st, 4 shots on goal in the 2nd and 6 shots on goal in the 3rd? Acciari led the team with 3 shots on goal? Why do they consistently pass up opps to shoot the puck? It seems like everyone wants the assist but not the goal.
Have Kyle and Dan ruled out calling up Iceberg? Have him rotate through the positions. Can't be any worse of a strategy than whatever it is they're doing already.
I agree with bringing up a couple guys. Boko is a must. Letang needs to take a month off. Maybe bring up Avery Hayes and sit the older Hayes. This team has zero confidence. We need actual competition so guys know their spots aren’t guaranteed
