Not limited to last night's loss, but this team has zero leadership with limited to no chemistry. Time for a few changes. Never been a Matthews fan. Matthews is NOT a leader or capable of being an effective captain. I know many will disagree with this but it has to be said. Your best player (allegedly) doesn't always translate into being the best leader. Get a player with heart and unwavering determination…Wendal Clark, Doug Gilmore, Gary Roberts were but a few of the past leaders that come to mind who consistently gave it their all for the blue and white. A true leader, both on and off the ice, would go a long way in whipping this team into a true contender. Berube is not the problem.

I’ve said since day ONE. ONE!…that the Leafs will win NOTHING as long as that self absorbed plug Matthews was leading the team..(“Leading”? That laughable…)
Bad trade after bad trade. Over paid contracts after over paid contracts (and every ONE with No-trade protection?).
This group is on the cusp of yet another rebuild…and that can’t begin until we rid ourselves of sleepy Matthews and his “Meh..Whatever…” casual indifference to the game.
Trade mathews, change the total attitude in the room, at least make a trade that helps the team, tree has not done the job he was hired to do, boy I wish I could make 10 mill plus to skate around doing absolutely nothing, I have been a leaf supporter for the last 60 years, this team looks like the team we had in the 70s and early 80s, come on guys get your shit together, we are paying way to much to watch this crap.

We've wanted to love Matthews and Willy, we've defended them, made excuses for them and stuck with them over the years. They have let us down time after time. I'd rather watch a hard working rebuilding team lose, than watch these prima donnas get embarrassed.
