My theory is that he called Patrik after the loss the buffalo and said he was not gonna re-sign, and the trade train started right there, he immediately called the teams that were most interested and said "Quinn is 100% available as of right now" and the teams spent a day putting together a package

Trade was a win win right now no matter what. Where else can a team pick up four first round picks in which two can play and contribute right now. Rossi will most likely become a good 2nd line center and Byuim looks like he will one day be a top lime pairing and run a PP. As for the wild how often is the second best defenseman in the world and often the best up for grabs ? Let’s go WILD!

With the direction of this team, IMO Petterson should be traded if they get good value.
I think you move Demko if he can build up his stock a lil bit. I’d be happy with a late 2nd or a 3rd for him at this point tbh. I love him but he’s been really unlucky. I think you keep EP40 and Hronek because even good young teams need some veteran leadership. Garland fits that role well too. I don’t see Boeser finishing that contract in Vancouver. The rebuild may spell the end for him in Vancouver as he is already showing signs of slowing down noticeably.

I’d take any pick for Kane as he will be off the books next year and definitely won’t be back. Any regained asset is good there imo.

He’s literally played 1C for the last 2 years with Kaprizov and he’s played on PP1 as well. He’s been given every opportunity and he’s made the most of it. I’m really confident that Rossi doesn’t ever hit 60 again unless he’s playing with an elite distributor like Kaprizov. We’ll see though
Nucks lost the trade pure and simple. You win cups with guys like Hughes. It took 50 years for the Nucks to have the best or 2nd best D Man in the league. In fact, Hughes is their first legit #1 D-Man ever.
