One of the biggest problems on this team is accountability. Listening to Morgan's answer about the first goal is pathetic. Did he say "yeah" to it being a communication issue and then blamed OEL for McDavid getting in behind him? You literally skated by him with your head down and let him go free to the net. How do you not take accountability for that goal? If I was the GM/coach and I heard a player give that answer to what happened on the first goal I would strip him of any letter on his chest and then make a hard push to trade him. I dare anyone to watch the replay of that goal and try to justify saying it was a communication issue :S
Team only makes Swedes, Finns, Syrian Canadians, Filipino Americans and others accountable. Not the Key Canadians & Americans (Mitch, Papi, Mo, Easton, etc). How is Maccelli sitting 8 of 9 games. WTAF did he do so wrong? Why has Benoit & Myers kept playing despite being brutal? Why aren't RHD Benning and/or Villeneuve given a chance? Why wasn't C/W J-Quillan, Boyd, Groulx given a chance to play instead of Cowan or Jarnkrok?
Why do they play rookie goalies or goalies with massive injury history or massive injury history and coming in cold (with no training camp) so many games in a row? WHy do they force SICK NYLANDER & hurt OEL to play when his ankle is definitely painful regardless of corticosteroids?
