  1. Some of the English batsman that went in there after a wicket fell, and then literally throw their wicket aware are selfish bastards, and should kicked out of the side. Pathetic really….

  2. Jaz crawley has had enough chances, give a fresh guy a chance, ibmne of thetop scorers of last seasons county format, we have plenty of other opening batsmen who compared to crawley have scored twice as many runs as him. Bashir should be back in, he had one bad test and they swing him aside, give him the chance he is young he needs nurturing he will become englands main spin bowler

  3. Shut up Butch and FO Talk sport with your sensationalist bs clickbait title.

  4. Stokes has got quite a bit of previous doing this sort of thing. There have been times when England have been 4 or 5 down for not many and Stokes has come in and dot and propped and once the tail comes in the opposition only attack the tail enders and put the field back for him and that's let him chance his arm and very occasionally get a big score when the opposition have lost control of the situation. As ever , everything in his mind is always about Ben Stokes not the team.
Saying bazball has been fun is just stupid and lazy, if all you want to see is 4s and 6s go watch t20, it's not test cricket and the sooner the kiwi mafia are shown the door the better

  5. The England cricket team look like the Titanic 30 minutes after it hit the iceberg. Whatever the captain and crew did, however they cut it, the ship was going to go down and there weren't enough lifeboats. But the orchestra still played to the last moment.

  6. Drop smith for Bashir. Let pope keep his place and keep wickets. Bat jacks at number 7. Being tongue in for carse. Do all these changes and you will at least be able to compete and maybe loose a test in day 5 instead of day 3 or 4

  7. Ah well… Whatever… Most of us back home have given up on this team anyway. Schoolboy cricket will win the odd T20 or even a one dayer from time to time. It took the world by surprise a few years ago, but real test cricketers soon have the answers to that particular style.

  8. Hate SLASHBALL with a passion! This has a 5-0 drubbing written all over it – STOKES ego rules – it’s all about him – English fans think he’s a joke! Playing one day cricket in an Ashes series in AUSSY is totally disrespectful to Test match cricket – hopefully a 5-0 thrashing will see the back of SLASHBALL!

  9. Stokes wants to blame others for poor character. ā€œWeak menā€. But it wasn’t his teammates that ran themselves out first innings at Brisbane. It’s not his teammates telling the bowling attack to bowl the bouncer barrage instead of pitching it up. It’s not his teammates that decided against bringing a full-time wicketkeeper.

At the end of the day, England are simply not that good. The batting is better on paper than reality because of the way they play, throwing their hands at everything and walking out of the crease to play on the front foot; the bowling is bang average because the English bowlers lack accuracy; and the fielding is hit or miss. If you want to blame personalities go ahead, but the pressure has gotten to Stokes as well in this series. England’s Test record over the past 2 years is pretty poor. It’s what happens when you try to play T20 on test surfaces against the red ball. You get unpredictable results, not long term consistency and success.

  10. So they're so brain dead and well paid, that they can't just change what their responsibility, whilst batting, might be? Are they that spoilt?

  11. "Be watchful against Starc". Don't worry about Cummins, Lyon, Boland etc. All of England players an pundits just reek of arrogance. That why I'm hoping they get spanked 5 Nil. Forget it was Neser who tore them up in that 2nd innings…

  12. England have gone down the route of trying to prove how clever they are with selections over common sense and actual skill.
Hull getting capped was the Zenith of the nonsensical approach, Bethell has talent but may get ruined by being exposed too early to a level he's not at yet.
The Jettisoning of Foakes and Leach shows that flair is valued over substance and the results or lack of have followed.

  13. England bowlers can't bowl more than 10 overs without gassing out…they should have been in Australia in October getting overs under tbeir belts not playing pointless ODIs in the NZ where it was still winter.

  14. Are they really bloody good at it? Can't win at home against aus or india. Slightly better?? Haven't won a match in oz since 2011…deluuuuusional

  15. The nonsense you are talking is ridiculous. Change the team same result. You guys are so far into Bazball you can’t react to changes in tempo of the match. How did they train in Noosa?šŸ–ļø

  16. Totally agree this Bazbollocks is pissing away the talents in the dressing room
The entire tour has been a shambles from selection strategy application coaching preparation and captaincy
This has not been a great Aussie team but we are so predictable and limited by the brainless Bazball theory

  17. I see England employed a Neanderthal gorilla to push journalists around at Brisbane airport. Is that part of BAZBALL? This group and management are a joke. Send the gorilla home.

  18. The poms haven't won a test here for 15 years and only 4 in 30 years. Now the guy with moustache is confident they are going to win 3 in a row.
    Hilarious.

  19. England hasn't suddenly lost its talent. They have simply lost sight of the batting mantra that still applies: play every ball on its merits.

  20. Don't let McCullum off from this. The laid back Kiwi, 'why worry guys, more golf next week'.

  21. According to ICC Test rankings:

    Batters in the top 10:
    England – 2
    Australia – 2

    Bowlers in the top 10:
    England – 0
    Australia – 5

England are NOT a stronger team on paper

  22. So what Butcher is saying is…watch the ball and play it on its merits. Like every cricketer should. Got it.šŸ˜‚ Bazball is verbal garbage unless your a minnow then it's was formerly known as flat track bullies.

  23. Pat Cummins and Lyon back for Adelaide to give you pasty whinging poms more grief . Have you seen the latest media melee at the airport , the poms security guard's got more fire in the belly than the whole big headed English team 😘

  24. The batsmen other than Harry Brook and joe root are not very good. The openers don’t have a defense. The media bought into it too

  25. Seriously, you say Australia is Englands equal. What are you smoking? Australian quicks have dominated English batters for years. How can you say the English team is ā€˜highly talented’?

  26. You guys aren’t getting it. The continuous flow of inflated, bilious talk & circus-like public hype that emanates from the bazball cultists about themselves IS the problem. You don’t develop strength by talking about it. You develop it through action. In the same way your body gets physically strong by what you do in the gym, cricketers get mentally strong by what they do on the field. Ben Stokes’ greatness as a player isn’t in question. As a leader, like all cult leaders, he’s acting like a little boy trying to talk himself (& his team) into being a man. Those players have been doing exactly what he & mccullum ordered them to do for four years. Now the limits of stokes’ game plan are being exposed, he chooses to hang out them out to dry by handing out cheap, pointless public insults. If a captain’s got something harsh to say to his players when his team isn’t going well, he should do it behind closed doors. Say as little as possible in public, defend your players at every turn & put your own hand up to cop the criticism. That’s how a man would do it. Being able to keep a lid on your responses while the media bays for blood & you’re feeling the weight of your own personal disappointment is part & parcel of demonstrating what a big, strong, grown up leader you are. Stokes’ inability to do this is only exposing his own weaknesses. And projecting his own faults onto his players is yet another classic example of how a cult operates.

  27. This isn't entirely accurate. Stokes after the first 6 months of Bazball has stopped throwing his wicket away and they've realised after the first year that Root being uber aggressive doesn't work. I agree overall with what has been said mind. Added to that Australia has been scoring at a faster rate.

  28. It's all very well saying they should consider the best time to attack. Brainless McCullum has NEVER done that in his entire playing career. And it's clear he doesn't advocate for it as a coach. In his own mind, he can do no wrong. He is always right, state of play be damned.

  29. Is Stokes a leader of men?? Proffesional cricketers getting fields set for them bowlers told what to bowl, I dont see a team I dont see team spirit. AND the best thing that happened to Australian cricket is McCullum. A Kiiwi can beat US LMFAO

  30. Ollie Pope averages 18 against Australia and 17 in Australia.
The actual pope would be a better choice batting at three.

  31. What does it say about your batters if you're picking your spinner and wicketkeeper on the basis of their batting ability!
