That is such a dangerous play. It shouldn't matter if the player is seriously injured or not, you should get a decent size suspension even if it's your first time or if you're a superstar.
People saying it wasn’t that bad because the dude didn’t break his neck and was able to keep himself up. I’m all for keeping hockey rough but that crap at the speed these players play at is soooo dangerous.
Если контакт был у 24 и 96. То почему должен страдать 28? Я отчетливо заметил, что 96 первым врезался сначала в левый, затем в правый конёк 24, от этого он и потерял контроль над ситуацией. Специально он это сделал или нет, знает только он сам
As a Avs fan I've watched Mikko play since his first year in the league. He is not known to be a good skater. I would get so ticked off watching him trip over his own shadow many times in a game. No excuse but he's big and clumsy. Jamie Benn is teaching him how to be a dirty player well. F the Stars it's the Avs year!
A guy can turn a trip into boarding, and blame the trip. How many times have you seen that happen? It's the same league, in which you give a flying elbow to a tendy without repercussions.
Besides, these types of things should get called, accident or not. We can't be certain of intent, so call it everytime. Otherwise, we'd have rats pulling this type of a stuff, all the time, making it appear to be accidental. Need to be more disciplined.
Some hockey fans are getting to be the worst about expecting the sport to never be dangerous. "Injury! And yOU feLL iNto hIM whEN yOu couLD haVe donE SomEthiNg eLse with a split second of time to make a decision. ThEreForE tHat wAS iNtenSionAl"

Suspension coming …. dirty, careless and cheap…. great win for the Isles and that was definitely goal interference
At least he got his chin up lucky.
Not clean per say, but could’ve been way worse
Rantanen should get 8 to 10 for that..and no RAZOR he was NOT shoved from behind…no wonder why Patrick was pissed….

NYI player 24, stick between Rantanen's legs ? Reaction of his reveals he understand that he cause this
Dear New York Islanders GM please sign an Enforcer Now!
In real time, it wasn't that bad. Could have been a lot worse.
Clean af this is hockey

Holy tits on a nun, rantanen was clearly not trying to affect Romanov like that on the forecheck.
Why didn’t anyone take his teeth out
I like how the useless broadcasters say Rantanen was shoved yet no one was near him. Never mind Rantanen giving Romanov a shove into the boards.
He didn’t get pushed at all what is this commentor talking about
Romanov was destroy by both Rantanen and MacKinnon lol
Wasnt even bad..Patrick stfu
Bad hit by Mikko, but to be fair Mikko was pushed from behind. Both are true.
collarbone
Coup salaud de rentanen
Ya doesn’t seem as villainous as I heard.
O god it’s not like he meant to lol really?
lol rants got pushed lmao elite teir player got pushed off that easy lmao yall smoking good shit in Dallas now
Yeah, clearly Mayfield on the ilanders hooked ranatanen and thus the accidental cross check. Nonetheless, I hate the dallas stars!🤗
Romanov at least remembered the peewee hockey slogan "heads up, don't duck". That could've been way worse!
Look at him try everything in his power to actually avoid hitting Romanov
That is a suspension if ive ever seen one.

White 24, didn't commit to hitting green 96 causing him to stumble and slam romanov, it 100% wasn't intentional

Look at the feet. Mayfields feet trip Rantanten. Rantanen loses balance and so on.
exactly..mayfield hooked em

Moose is not dirty player, never been!! Ihme paskaa taas
Not much of a hit. Definitely not intentional🍺🌮
Collarbone 100%..
Romanov coasting like he is at a public skate session
Mayfield set the worst possible pick and ended up just corkscrewing him and Romanov paid the price

Mikko is a victim himself. Mayfield hooked him to lost his balance.
This should be 25 games at least that’s intentional
Didn’t look that bad. Does everyone realize they are playing hockey?
He gets shoved from behind,SLAMS on the breaks. If it was intentional he wouldn’t have let up. Go give shit to #24
Rittich with an all time suicide pass
Romo is out 5 month minimum.
Goalie should’ve shot the puck around the boards.
