  1. Am I the only one who read quickly and thought Ekblad was part of the trade?

Anyway, wishing a safe recovery for Ekblad. That injury looked horrifying.

  2. That injury being 12 weeks doesn’t sound that bad after watching the video it looked like it could be much much worse

  3. I wonder if LA is getting ready to waive/trade Macdermid that is really the only way i see this trade and the 1 yesterday really making sense it's good for Amadio he should be an upgrade to what the Sens have in there 3/4 center spot he's decent in the dot, hardworker, good defensively, and really good at retrieving the puck

  4. Leg fracture?! That sucks. I thought it was an ACL injury which isn't much better but damn. That sucks. I wish him a full and speedy recovery.

  5. Wishing a speedy recovery for Ekblad. He’s been amazing for us this year and it’s so sad to see him go down like that in the best year of his career. Hopefully he’ll come back stronger and better next year

  6. Good to see some love for Ottawa. Great Channel. Buffalo looked good tonight too before the collapse. I hope I live long enough to see Buffalo win the cup. That would be amazing.

  7. I think Caufield is gonna play a bit in Laval before coming up. Many sources, including Pierre Lebrun and Caufield himself, have said that he’s going to Laval for now

  8. FYI… today is the 3 year anniversary of Scott Foster's emergency goalie performance for the Hawks…. never forget the best emergency goalie performance ever lol

  9. I know it sounds crazy but honestly Ekblad is really lucky. 12 weeks is actually not bad for what it looked like, that could have been an injury that kept him out a full year

  10. NHL needs to get rid of Overtime set up. 3 on 3 and shootouts. Are not normal hockey and should not be decider who wins. NO OT Or 5on 5 for a set amount of time.

  11. As much as I want to see Olympic hockey, China is a big concern to me. I don't think we should be rewarding them with all the crap they are doing. I would 100% support a boycot.

  12. Hey Shannon, there's talks that David Farrance (Hobey Finalist), LHD from Boston University has signed and has immediately been put on the taxi squad. Think he sees any NHL action on the Nashville blue line?

  13. I have to assume Florida is going to need to do something big now. This is the first time they've truely been in the hunt in a long time. They can't afford to not take a kick at the can and try and win it all. If that means giving up a ton of futures you gotta do it. You need to get as good of a dman back as you can manage. If that OEL, if that's Ristolainen. You just have to figure out something.

  14. did you watch the San Jose /Minn shoot out????? Before Burns skated forward to take his shot, he pulled the puck backward over the red line a couple inches. i don't know if anyone saw this but I would suspect that if he scored (he did not) it would not have counted.

  15. Ah Wolanin, a lot of potential. Derailed by injury, never recovered his level of play. There was a time I thought he was a shoo-in for a future Senators roster.
