The playoff talks were fun while they lasted and Ik it’s still early but I think it’s pretty clear now that this isn’t a playoff team at all yet. They’ve improved a lot from last year but they still have a long way to go.
To be honest we’ve only won 2 games in the last 10 so we’ve been trending downwards a lot longer than this weekend. That Seattle game really broke something with this team because we’ve not been the same since.
I'm beginning to question Blashill's message– there's this emphasis on doing well, getting through games when you don't have your best. How about winning games? How about being goddamn certain you're prepared to have your best as many games as humanly possible? Why are we setting ourselves up to play sub-par hockey? send.
with regard to surviving poor performance, they did it, they are all still alive. But six goals to none & seven goals to won is in the wrong league or playing for a different team.
