Dean doesn't care enough about winning hockey games to be our head coach anymore
If I hear “our compete was real good” after another loss he should be fired. Compete being good and results are 2 different things and right now the results are not there. How can he say he likes how we’re playing when we keep losing this is ridiculous
I had so much hope for this team but its gone. I thought Dean was a good coach, its not working out. Someone of something has to change. Jet is our only good player right now
I said it when they hired everson, and I will say it again, a good coach uses the talents of his players putting them in positions to succeed. Not our coach players have to conform to his style, team was not built to play that way

Last in the fucking metro, again. But thank god they played the right way. Coaches and players better take a damn hard look at what Zach Werenski said, cause he’s the true captain of this team and we need to follow him.

@Jon-gx6de People don't point out McCarthy enough. He's overseen one of the worst defenses in the league for years now. It may not be entirely his fault for the last two GMs doubling down on an almost exclusively offensive minded d corps over that time. You can see guys like Fabbro, Provorov, and Mateychuk trying to play physical and failing miserably. Opponents casually overpower them. So as @franzgantner9228 pointed out, maybe the coaches should focus on their strengths and a puck possession/positional game, even though they don't appear to be very good at that either. Between Provorov, Severson, and Fabbro (all unmovable), Waddell and Jarmo may have doomed the team for the next 4+ years. But in general, most of the team seems to lack focus and urgency, and it's been that way for years. Old glass bones Laine may have had a point.
Sell the team! The expectations and the execution of making changes for this team is sooooooo Low. Its embarrassing being a Blue Jackets fan!
