We got one asset back. That 2nd round pick. Kulak is pretty much nothing. Better than Graves is not a high bar. Skinner is cap dump and way to give Murashov time in the AHL. I'm fine with the trade.
Hard to love the trade IMO except for the fact that it dumps Jarry's salary. Just sucks that Jarry had been playing well this season though he still would have been hard to trust in the playoffs.
Sad to see Jarry go, but I just dont trust Jarry. If we lose Skinner for what ever reason not a big deal. The biggest thing is that the logjam is cleared for both goalies in the AHL to come up.
Dubas masterclass 👌 We couldn't get a team, a half a year ago, to take Jarry for free. Now, we gained a left dman AND a 2nd round pick, possibly after McDavid leaves Edmonton so the pick could be a good one! Unbelievable 👏
No retained salary, that's a win in itself, everything else is extra. Though I hope he continues to play well for his sake, history says he's going to fall back to Earth like Silovs. Guess we get to see what Murashov can do for a season against the big boys! Dubas is outdistancing Khan with his deft moves.
I just hope that this means murashov is coming up and can take the number 1 role and do well. Silovs and Skinner are not getting us into the playoffs at all.
Yeah I think this had to happen. If the opportunity to trade Jarry presented itself, and it did, the Pens had to do it. Clears the way for Murashov next season,

Who knew we would get rid of Sullivan and Jarry in the same season?? Those were my 2 biggest problems with the team. I am satisfied.

Kulak is better than Graves, Clifton, and Dumba for sure and arguably equal if not better than Shea. Huge W!

I think Pens fans are going to be frustrated by Skinner. He's a great goalie and a terrible goalie, all in the same body.
