Maybe you shouldn’t sign a 34 year old defenseman and a 30 year old declining winger to long extensions. Buch has been declining for 2 years. It was widely known he was shopped at the deadline and I guess we couldn’t get what we want for him so we sign him till he is 36 at 8M/year?? Fowler has been declining for 3-4 straight years and we sign him to a HORRIBLE extension…. A year before we even have to?!?!? What the fuck are we doing. This retool went from exciting last year with Broberg and Holloway to absolutely discouraging. I don’t see a future that we contend with this core and prospect pool. There’s nothing there.

I find it funny how the guys know what they are doing wrong, and Jim knows it too. But they dont fix it. I dont get it but they need to figure it out.
