Alex Ovechkin Just Made NHL History Again!

Alex Ovechkin just made NHL history again. At age 40, the Washington Capitals superstar passed Joe Sakic to enter 10th on the NHL’s all-time points list, and he did it on the same night he recorded a hat trick on November 20, 2025 — becoming only the 6th player age 40 or older to score three goals in a game.
In this video, we break down Ovechkin’s record-setting performance, how he continues to dominate the NHL at 40+, and why his scoring ability shows no signs of slowing down. From milestone goals to elite consistency, Ovechkin continues to prove he’s one of the greatest players in NHL history.

  1. Yes I think he will get 1000 goals. And even as a caps fan, I also don't like the blue helmets with the white jerseys

  2. gretzky was the best,!,,,they play this dope on the power play and when the other team is blocked in their zone, tired,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,gretzky played a shift

  3. he will retire at the end of this season. His playmaking ability has always been so underrated. He makes amazing passes consistently. In my opinion, at the very peak of his power there has never been a better play driver than ovi. consistant 50 goal 50 assist seasons in his prime as well as being 3rd on the all time hits list. The caps could never get it done but if he got a little more luck and his teamates didnt let him down so many times in the postseason he could of easily won another cup or two. He is one of the best players of all time.
