Can't say I blame him after losing a player for well over a month after a dirty hit and the player that caused the injury gets nothing

I wonder if there was any discriminatory language said on the ice to warrant the suspension? Maybe he also said he was going to cause him serious pain. Break his nose or something. Or called him a Fa#ot. I think language on the ice can get very bad. Why does the NHL have it in for the most wealthiest team in league? A team that can't win? Hey gambling scandal perhaps. Maybe that's why. I don't mean from that game. Just years of predictability with the leafs when everyone knows sports is very random. I find this decision interesting.

NHL doesn’t even care about optics anymore. Clowns! Had the player injured been anybody not on the leafs the guilty player would have been suspended to the moon!
This is the stuff that annoys me so much! I dont mind suspensions and punishing players, but also punish others. Same last year when benett took out stolarz and go not so much as even a fine, let alone a suspension. Its so obviously one buased against the leafs. The person in charge NEEDS to be fired instantly. You cant be in charge of SAFETY and have a preference for a team
This should be known as the “Trump syndrome” meaning any yahoo can get any authoritative job. This George guy is out to lunch and still he holds this position. He should have been canned for giving Morgan 5 games for a very predictable shot that a baby could have seen coming for disrespecting an opponent in that manner. The whole officiating needs a complete revamp. I want to see the greatest game on earth and not a team like Florida winning who are infamous for the cheap shots and intimidation tactics.

This was predicted by all of us that have lived with Paros’ term as head of Player Safety. Goncalvez, Bennet, Marchand, and so many more have caused injuries to the Leafs with egregiously filthy cheap shots, yet none have had suspensions. The NHL executive is a f’ing joke. Paros and Campbell need to be thrown out, but corruption is bred from the top down, and we know who that is.
Not only most suspended team, but bottom few teams for PPs given since George has had that job…weird, even though they suck on the PP….hard to imagine being that bad at your job (3 years Mark Savard) and still actually having that job, pros are about production. Everythings better but PP Mabey out of ideas, try Stecher try mcabe change system keep it simple to start…I don't know I'm not the coach.

Well its the the officals how they call it on the ice poitics for the us teams whick a politics play by the officals and player saftey screw the candian teams well the way players should shoot the puck at the officals head and see how they like it when there injured and thats the only way it will change with player saftey.
