While currently we have AI slop, eventually we will have a good enough AI that can start to replace workforce more widely. So it's not getting any better from here. Maybe AI slop will gradually go down though.

Regarding AI, I wonder if the cap won’t be when the world economy tanks because billions of people have lost their jobs because they’ve been replaced with AI.
Hopefully it doesn’t get there, but I think it eventually gets there because humanity can’t seem to forecast a crisis, we prefer to react once the crisis is in full swing.

Saw this on ESPN just a few days ago talking about unbreakable records related to the NBA and other sports. It did mention Ovechkin's 900 goals, but then when talking about Gretzky's 1963 assists, they asserted that no one has had more than 98 assists in a season since 1990-91, which is categorically incorrect and very easy to verify. But it was also literally just two years ago, and major news when it happened, that McDavid and Kucherov both had 100 assists lmao.
In times where I've talked with Chat-GPT, it very much muddles up sports history, probably because of all of the numbers. I tried asking it "What were the results of each game of the Stanley Cup Final in 2006?" and it couldn't even do that properly, mixing up some scores or final results of the series.
Vancouver is behind the 8 ball on the trading front. If the guys they dangle as trade bait are the only guy we have with actual on-ice performance or star talent, what would we even have left? Am I taking crazy pills, thinking one should trade the guys who are not working out, instead of the guys who are?
