How is Marco Kasper still averaging about 14 minutes per game? 27 games played and he has 3 goals, 0 assists, and is a -11.
Copp does look good at times but I think we need Kaspar to level up or a different 2C via trade to really complete our offence. Whenever copp or compher have the puck I expect the puck not to go into the net 😭
“They know what they need to be doing…” the issue has always been this roster is incapable of doing them. At some point, it’s not a matter of knowledge, but skill. The ceiling on the team-as-constructed is simply lower than their peers.

Ken (& Mickey aswell this time) talking about a win with 6 mins left of the game made me nervous. It feels like everytime Ken starts jibbering about the W and counting the points in the standings blabla we end up losing the game. Thankfully this wasnt one of them but it was a close call🥵 #thejinxisreal 😂🤪
Of the 13 available points on the stat sheet 10pts came from Seider, Debrincat, Raymond, Kane and Larkin. I'll say it until I'm blue in the face, Detroit complained about not having enough top end talent for the passed decade and now they're probably one of if not the most top heavy team in the league. Appleton leads the bottom 6 in scoring with a wopping 9pts and is tied with the current 2c in points. They have a serious depth problem. If the best the bottom 6 can do is "not lose you the game", they're not good enough. They simply don't contribute.

Gibson is really bad. I know he’s doesn’t have the best defense in front of him but I don’t think he’s playing well at all despite any other factors
I must have very high standards. They played decent, but I think the Bruins made that game worse than it needed to be. Could've taken the fight out of them with a power play goal after Zadorov's elbow. Didn't. Could've done it again after Kastelic's BS. Didn't. Those moments are a chance to defend yourself in ways other than fighting, and the Wings don't have the killer instinct to do that.
At what point are we going to get a goalie who plays better when they get to Detroit? Did Ozzy put a curse on us or something?
Boston missing their best defenseman, and their best forward. Imagine the Wings winning without Seider and Larkin.
Red Wings are the Jekyll and Hyde' of hockey. One team is good, the other is bad.
When I see a + on the season goal diff I'll get excited. Until then it just looks like the last few years to me so far.
Even the Detroit presenters and tv producers had a small section on the Cossa/Wallstedt draft and how well Wallstedt is doing in Minnesota.
The North America scouting has been underperforming for years and specially the pro scouting.
