How about Archer puts his pillow in his bag like some other players do? He's bowls within himself when England need him to put out. If an Aussie seamer did that, he wouldn't be selected for a test match again.

Khawaja is done. Inglis should stay in. He deserves the spot. He has been in and around the squad for years. He has shown his class in white ball cricket on big occasions for Australia.
loving the show guys. I thought that was why we call em tests, 5 days of cricket is a test (of every thing, stamina, mental focus) I used to play very low grade club cricket 2 days was a dam test and i was pretty fit over prepared rubbish

I don't think you can mess with the opening partnership. Made 2 x 70 already. He might come in for Inglis. 23 not really enough to nail down a spot even though he got a good one. However, does Uzzie run out Stokes? Probably not. Inglis did. So if you're looking at the package as sad as it is I don't think he should play. Should have put him on the back of a Ute and had him paraded around the Gabba. I'm not sure what you do in the case of another injury but they are talking Kelloway and McSweeney around the traps as next players up. McSweeney I'm not sure after last summer but I wouldn't pick Uzzie. I'm with Pup though I think they will and I think it will be a mistake.
What did Kurtis Patterson do wrong? 100 vs Sri Lanka and was never seen again. Did he back up over an administrators dog or something? Renshaw 3 x 100s as well. Surely they are pretty heavily justifiable options instead of Uzzie. Again very sad to go out on an injury. Parade him round the SCG before Day 1 but for me he's done.
Which Carey catch? The one where Marnus should charged him on the way or Stokes top edge? Where's the love for Will Jacks? I'm an Aussie and I think his was the best of the lot.
As a neutral kiwi I think England doesn’t have the bowling to compete with Aus. Their batting has talent but looked in la-la land even when they played ODIs over here.
I love Swannie but Steve Smith had his cruise missile confiscated at the gate and they let Archer in with his pillow.

If West Indies can select players who don't play regional red ball cricket then Mitch Marsh is fine retiring from state cricket and leaving himself available for tests
