In the first episode of The Winged Way, we take a deeper look at the three current Detroit Red Wings rookies on the roster; Emmitt Finnie, Axel Sandin-Pellikka and Nate Danielson.
It's good to see prospects making their way into the lineup, making a difference and sticking around. Finnie being a 7th rounder and now a 1st line player is incredible, ASP and Danielson are coming along nicely and I wish all prospects good luck. I just don't like seeing the young guys bullied.
If only TV was around in the capacity with the quality of video we have now during Datsyuk's rookie season. Imagine the HOF's talking about watching Datsyuk in his rookie season. Loving the new Red Wings, hopefully the energy stays this high for the rest of the season and we end the playoff drought. Lots of good prospects in the development pool too. The Grand Rapids Griffins are straight dominating the AHL (19-1) mad respect, LGRW!!!

I can't wait for the rest of the 23 draft class to get here. We still have a few guys coming through SHL and NCAA.
