  1. should they have realized the Avs were going to be exhausted as the game progressed? Yes, probably and they should have had a strategy to tire them out as quickly as possible. They were very fortunate to face a very tired Avs team, but seemed to me they were a little intimidated by such a superior team. It does show the Flyers are lacking overall talent and a player or two who can push the play, either a true 1C or 1D. What should Danny do in this regard? And that 4th line doesn't provide any offense whatsoever. Good discussion; you are hitting on all the most germane topics.

  2. This was a game for Owen Tippett to push the play With his speed with a tired Aves team coming in . His speed could have been a factor . But he seems to be happy just collecting a pay check .

  3. They lost by a goal to arguably the best team in the league or certainly the best offence, stop nit picking a team that is still rebuilding… personally I'm quite happy about where this team is who are not expected to contend for another couple years.

  4. 1 team I feel could be sellers if keep losing is Jets they need to move out older guys for youth.

    Lambert already requested trade
    1. Neidereitter I feel is worth a 2nd
    2. Iafallo = 2nd
    3. Namestnikov = 3rd+
    4. Stanley=3rd
    5. Guys like Nyquist,Schenn,Miller,Pearson,Heinola be lucky get 5th rounders.

  5. This game was lost in the first period. To get only 3 shots on goal against a team playing 3 in 4, while the Flyers were rested since Wednesday, is an absolute joke. Just be even going into the 3rd and this game was the Flyers'.

  6. Flyers needed to set the tone early in the game instead of playing like they were a tired team. They scored early but did nothing to take advantage.
