Was that Calvin Pickard’s final game as an Edmonton Oiler?

  1. Picks needs to get a knee injury that puts him on LTIR. Then he can still be around the team

  2. Do we really care about what some people think about speculation on what someone else thinks? It is my opinion that the team has not been good enough this year and they need to have more engagement in games. That is not limited to goaltenders but does include them. But that is my opinion and I am saying what others may be thinking as a speculative thought.

  3. I love the guy as a person too. Unfortunately, he is just not good enough. His rebound control was terrible.

  4. Dude with how many starts pickard gets you cant expect him to be awesome. He needs more time on the ice and not when they are down 4 5 or 6 to nothing…. How fair is it to be thrown in net when the morale of the other team is peaking and your morale is shot to 💩. Having a goalie turning all that around in 20 minutes isn't fair. Look at pickard beat LA in the playoffs last year. They should have never pulled him when skinner got better. They should have let him run his hot streak.

  5. I love pickard he did good when they needed him for the past 2 seasons and reaching to the finals but if they need to change things up I think he needs to be placed down in order to fix up the goaltending I would still keep him in the team tho

  6. Even though the Oilers won last night Pickard still letting four goals.. he has good games but when he sucks he sucks

  7. Ma’am, I value wins over feelings all day they’re millionaires the only thing that should matter is the best available players are playing on the team, not the power of friendship.

  8. I know the boys love having Picks as a teammate, but it's time to put their emotions aside and do what's best for the team, which is move on from Pickard and get someone that can compete with Skinner.

  9. Who cares about how they feel about him, do you wanna win or not 😅😅
Less in your feels and more lets try to win A cup

  10. The goalies have been far from perfect but the Oilers defensive zone inconsistency is the real killer. If both goalies play exactly the same and we cut our defensive zone turnovers even just 20% with a few less blunders around our own net, the record would look a lot better than it does.

  11. The poor guy was an AHL goalie thrown into a situation he was unable to deal with Unfortunately Edmonton had no other alternatives.

  12. Why you guys even talking about Pickard? When in history, in the long run, has a backup goaltender ever got any team anywhere? Let’s talk about Skinner! This guy needs to go!
