  1. I know Meier is a bit of a sneak dirty player but I think it's a reach that he did this on purpose. He's clearly just bracing for some contact and getting ready to receive the puck.

  2. I do not believe this was intentional, moreover, an unintentional accident. I sure hope Samuelson is alright, however.

  3. Sophisticated play by him. For those that don’t know, Sammy dumped a devs player into the boards earlier. Timo saw him coming with his head down, turned and timed it exactly so Sammy skates into his elbow. Clever plays like that make you wanna have him on your team. Definitely see why zebras didn’t call it a penalty.

  4. Where’s the elbow? I wouldn’t call that an elbow I would call that unfortunate. The commentators made it sound worse than it was. He was trying to control the puck and anyone that has played the game is taught to keep your hands away from your body. If he had his elbow tucked in it probably would’ve been worse

  5. Yeah he didn't do that on purpose. I'm sure he doesn't feel good about it, but it wasn't intentional.

  6. Definitely intentional and knew he could get away with it by giving a reverse hit, cheeky elbow for sure. He shouldn’t have been allowed to skate off McLeod should’ve retaliated imo.

  7. Rather obvious to anyone who has ever played that Meier turned to play the puck on his backhand. At best it’s an accidental minor penalty…

  8. He might have actually done that purposefully, but he did it without any "elbowing motion" so its really hard to know. Might not have been intentional, but…it should be a penalty anyways. You should have to be responsible for your stick, you touch a guys face with it, its a penalty. Should be the same deal with elbows.
