Call up Cossa
Flames beat the Wild and the Oilers offence explodes on the Kraken. Hope the goaltending isn’t a shitshow going through the West. Looking like it’s time for a third goalie to be on the roster. I’m not trading the 26 1st round pick with this goaltending.
Cossa probably should be called up but sometimes I wonder if Yzerman is hesitant because Detroit's defense, or lack thereof, might hurt Cossa's confidence and progress

In the big picture, looking at the last six games, 5 guys playing at a high level cannot overcome poor goaltending and a lack of defensive ability in our own end. This is the Redwings story. Too few guys carrying the load and too many making mistakes or not producing. If winning was a priority you’d be making personnel changes —but who knows with this organization.

It’s time to call up Cossa before the season is lost.
So the wings are looking for the goalie of the future.. you also have a team that's learning to gel together and win in different ways. Progress sometimes is extremely painful. But if you had a good goalie right now how much further would your team gel? They would end up relying on the goalie . This is a brutal transition with the younger players. I think everyone now understands how dangerous the Red wings really are . Once they get their pieces I think being in the finals is it going to be a mainstay for 10 years
Do both our goalies need to have a sub .850 save percentage until we call up Cossa?
Why is everyone so concerned about Cossa getting losing his confidence if he gets beat badly? Is that not a learning experience?

As a goalie , I can tell you that bringing ossa with this defensive core , as well as the team defense structure could not only ruin his confidence , it could be permanent and ruin his entire career. I can't give you names right now. But I know there were several goalies like this.Just look at Philadelphia.They did that to a lot of good promising goalies. Now, none of them are in the league. Cossa is the hottest goalies in the league right now in the AHL. Let him have NO doubts how good he is by kicking butt down there . Then the Wings can make a move etc ; and bring him in with a head of steam. Just like Minnesota. We need to make a move….
..All right , but to get a good elite defenseman. Bium would certainly help us. However, he's probably out for the year. (At least I guess he is. I haven't seen him since training camp and I thought he was going to make the team.). Frankly, I don't think Talbot played that bad.He just couldn't see the puck (as usual), because there were 😮 like , four or five guys standing in front of him (blocking his vew as usual). Many of them were our own players.
One great thing , no one seems to be talking much about is that van reams d*** , it's really coming on. Missing the preceding is very detrimental to most players. He's finally playing the way that I thought he would. …and Thank goodness !
Talbot has been played to much.he needs a 2 week break. Gibson needs to be thrown to the wolves and see if he really wants to play
