The Edmonton Oilers are supposedly looking to target Slater Koekkoek or Ben Hutton per Elliotte Friedman! This rumour has some fire to it, as just yesterday Bob Satuffer noted he wouldn’t be surprised if the Oilers looked to ad a 6 or 7 defenseman! What’s your take on this Oilers rumour?

While Bear is part of the equation for me it's more what happens with the up and comers. Bringing in the two vets tells them "we don't trust you". I don't care about a players "feelings" if we win with another player. Going to be interesting. Great vid as always. Ben Hutton is the better defender. I’d say if Holland fails to acquire him, Kookoo is a good last option. Having said that kookoo is a tougher grittier presence and believe that might better our team.
A Oiler-Leaf trade of Khaira for Marincin is good for me giving khaira a fresh start and marincin on a small contract lefty who has played alot of minutes on a soft roster and brings size if not hitting
