The Dallas Stars dealt with the horrible injury news this morning as it was announced that forward Tyler Seguin will miss significant time, possibly the rest of the 2025-26 season, as he suffered a torn ACL in his right knee on Tuesday night against the New York Rangers. The Stars, like many NHL teams this season, have dealt with a litany of injuries and must continue to push forward without one of their veteran offensive players. Tonight, the Stars will face the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center. The Devils had one of the hottest starts in the NHL this year (13-4-1), but have struggled with injuries themselves and have gone 3-5-0 in their last eight games. The Stars are on a seven-game point streak (5-0-2) and have points in 19 of their last 21 games (14-2-5, 33 pts., 0.786).
