Dangerous Gymnastics Accident: Paralysis!

This happened in 2010 and lead me to paralysis .

Actually, my element was a front somersault one and a half roll. I have competed in that element in many competitions and even won a medals.
But unfortunately, on that day I couldn’t release my hands for rolling. that was my mistake.

After landing on my head, even I tried to get up but it wasn’t possible. After that, completely lost sensation and movement in my lower body.

Now, I am playing para table tennis for IOB and dreaming of winning an Olympic medal in para table tennis.

  1. It is difficult to talk about that challenging time, but I want to share the incident with everyone.

Now, para table tennis has become a significant part of my life, helping me stay active, focused, and driven. I am working hard to improve my skills and participate in more competitions.

  2. Humm I wonder if he may be too tall to be in gymnastics. I thought gymnastics was better suited for smaller more compact people?

  3. Ouch… he hit his neck first… which wasn't the proper method to land on the ground, it should've been his back.

  4. It's quite rare on youtube for videos of brutal accidents to be shared by the victim/subject of the accident… it doesn't excuse it, but I imagine that partially explains why this athlete is receiving so many cruel and heartless responses here. Ignorance that those comments are sent directly to him… the anonymity and detached spectator effect of the internet brings out the worst in people.

  5. Man I salute ur courage, many people won't be able to cope up if this happened to them like a permanent disability would be devastating, but I'm so happy u dealt with it and now well and happy and playing table tennis. Hats off bro.

  6. Look man, you had a go at life. Won medals and recognition, more than many people that never achieve a god damn thing in their lifetime. At least you are here to share your story. God bless !

  7. THE WAY I FELL LIKE THIS TWICE IN A ROW. I was fortunate enough to have mats beneath me to land on. I hope youre doing better

  8. Man… That is so sad and unfortunate. Scary too. Poor fella. Going from a ninja to a wheelchair. Has to be hard for that guy. I solute him! Dude is a pimp!

  9. I just want to congratulate you on being strong and continuing to fight to do what you enjoy. We take too much for granted each day, and the fact that you've found ways to still enjoy the good in life is something to be proud of. Have a great day 🙂

  10. I just found this. What a horrible thing to happen! I hope you are doing better now and I'm sorry there are so many losers being nasty in the comment section.
Please stay safe out there everyone! Greetings from Sweden.

  11. The hell is wrong with this generation of the internet, people hating on this dude for what? Dude suffered a terrible life altering injury and can't even show some compassion, sick fucks
