Living in Pittsburgh I’ve been raised to have an absolute disdain for Ovechkin and led to believe he’s a dirty player.. yet here we are with the SECOND huge class act in sportsmanship from him in less than a year. Credit where credit due.. Won me over good comrade 🫡
I’m more impressed how he nailed every handshake / dap / mirrored hug and didn’t mess a single one up. Each one looked like greeting a life time buddy and not one of them were flubbed.
Ovechkin calling his team back onto the ice to pay homage to marc-andre Fleury was the coolest thing I've ever seen in hockey. Long time rivals but yet ovechkin had the class…he just proved it again with this send-off for Kopitar. Also, I only cheer the Pens, which should speak volumes

Ovi a leader
I’ve always appreciated Ovechkin. His classy gestures in these moments seal the deal that much more.

As a Blues fan it’s tough to hear JK’s voice. We miss you
So much class there’s no words
