  1. i’m genuinely curious and would love to know your guys’ opinion, do we think there are any players on their current squad who could have their numbers retired by the end of their careers?

  2. Putting Slaf in charge of the second line was one of the best move they did recently.

Not only is Bolduc clicking with Caufield and Suzuki, but Slaf is taking his new role seriously.

  3. LOL ok let's have a little FUN Matheson contract start NEXT YEAR what if a team tell you they want him for ( incert player name here ) lol Crosby,Mc D ,Tage Thomson ect ect take the one you like whould you do it you can non mouvement start next year but lol the culture the team moral/spirit the message that the GM good the the players lol DO YOU DO IT trade him ( Package deal not 1 for1) for your dream center or no trade I HAVE MORAL'S lol …………. for me you play to win so if the trade help me win i do it and you?

  4. could be that montembeault plays better with lots of rest—–he was doing that when sitting a lot when they had 3 goalies on the club a couple years ago

  5. That’s the Money we’ve been wanting to see! Caufield could have had 3 tonight! Slaf really stands out off off the top line! Suzuki is back playing with pace! Obviously was playing thru something!!

  6. Fantastic game with a lot of intensity. Too bad about the brain-fade leaving Stone all alone in front of Monty. He made some outstanding saves and deserved a clean sheet. Slaf was very good tonight. He's settling in nicely on the 2nd line. Very happy with the overall team performance. Thanks guys.

  7. When Slaf plays well, the Habs win against any opponent; when he plays poorly, they lose. It has a huge impact and helps a lot. He has to try hard, and then it works.

  8. Good game. Monty finally shined. Low shot total but we had more high danger chances than Vegas and that's what matters most. It would be nice if Caulfield could score the 'easy' ones (break away last game, slot shots), with that shot you'd think he'd pot those others but if he keeps picking the corner from the short spot I'll take it.

  9. There were a ton of noob supposed fans that literally threw Monty under the bus and wanted to see him traded….shows how much they know about the league. Also, these noobs thought Monty would get lit up again and have Dobes play his game. If the morons checked Statmuse. Monty was in net on the road game in Vegas last season and won. This was also the case for Dobes (although it was a late regulation goal that clinched it for the Habs that time.

  10. Thanks for great video. As to Slaf and his play on 2nd line it needs to be stated Slaf was given totally different responsibilities on 1st line so he could not show other skills and develop. Slaf being in 2nd line is superb for his development. Keep him there to develop further. We can see already now he wants to take ownership like in national team. Its a matter of trust and time. Coach and fans tend to forget that

  11. I think Slaf is the most underrated player on this team. It doesn't always show in the stats, but he's incredibly useful in so many ways. And he keeps getting better every game.

  12. Do you know what is funny? Slaf was demoted and replaced by just a lucky bouncer but despite that he is making plays and points for the 1st line, actually 2 points in the last game.

  13. The team played awesome! Kappy could have had a hattrick last night if he could have converted on the passes from Slaf! Keep the Faith and Go Habs Go!
