Good on Sheldon for speaking up about the bad calls and cheap shots. This game was over-officiated when it wasn't needed, and under-officiated when it WAS needed.
No question Dillon is honorable, a 1000-game warrior, and you never want a player to get hurt like that. But put all the emotions aside, they still made many defensive mistakes that cost them the game. There are players in the lineup tonight that should not be on an NHL roster, and other players are struggling mightily to learn how to defend. And how does this press corp not ask about the no-call Miles Wood ripping the stick out of Nemo's hand …. that led directly to a goal. No excuses though, pay tribute to Dilly 1000th game, and then go win a game. They got wrapped up in emotion and reverted back to a team that can't defend.
Maybe emotions would have been more in check if it wasn't dilly's 1000th. The team at least cares about each other and that will be more valuable in the long run.
Keefe is so fucking well spoken, it's awesome. Knowing how openly, eloquently, and frequently he speaks his mind to the media, I can only imagine how he speaks to the players. I cannot say that I have had this level of confidence in a coach in my 12ish years as a devils fan, and we've had a lot of coaches in that time. This team will be fine. Would rather have these issues reveal themselves now than in April.

The goal where miles wood literally took Nemo’s stick was BULLSHIT. Better be reviewed by the league and an apology put forth. And a 41 game suspension for cheap shot on Dillon is WARRANTED
There’s no concussions protocol in the NHL. How is this acceptable to let the guy come back. There should be consequences to let a concussed player back in the game. I wonder how his family felt about him playing after that.

Best coach we've had in a long, long time. 4th all time in wins for coaches with over 400 games, he knows his stuff and communicates it well.
