Lizotte is looking like the best player after the big 4. Just always visible, always active and communicating. Statistically maybe not but his role isn't a stat padder.
If the Penguins couldn’t get up for the Flyers, that would have been very telling. That they handled the Flyers so well after laying an egg against the Leafs could set the tone for the next couple of weeks.
That had to be the worst reffed game of the year. Didn't mind Lizotte's hooking call – that Flyer should have had a roughing call. The Pens did an amazing job to win against the other two teams on the ice. Here's hoping Jarry and the PP stays hot.
It is always irritating when people want to act like analytics in Football/Hockey are akin to analytics in Baseball. In Baseball the data is all out there and the way the game is played makes it easier to analyze. Almost all Hockey analytics available to the public just rely on shot attempts. It is no where near as sophisticated or predictive as Baseball analytics.

I’ll be intrested once everyone is healthy who the odd man out is. Figure it looks something like this:
Raks-Sid-Rusty
Brazeau-Geno-Mantha
Rutger-Kindel-Ville
Dewar-Lizotte-Accari
That means you sit Tommy Novak? But I’ll be honest he’s been more noticeable recently and buries his chances when he gets them

Crosby hates the Flyers.
I hate the Flyers.
