  1. Jesse spot on, slaf development and demigod probably way better together… give Bolduc more reps to see if he can get better chemistry with Suzuki and goalfield

I hate to say this , don’t see any point for Dach in top 6 , let’s see guys we expect for the future

Dach Laine and whatever left , newhook … rather buildup as good shutdown line Evans Anderson and whomever makes most sense …

  2. Bottom line…The most important stat is W. We are getting more W with Slaf leading the two rookies than following the line 1 stars. Moreover, you have to consider that the reason Slaf and Bolduc are where they are is because of the injuries. If we didn't adjust, we'd have less W, and we need W. Plus, you are developing Slaf, Demidov and Bolduc by doing these lines, so maybe more W will be possible as they improve…Remember, W is the key takeaway. Go forth with this revelation.

  3. Tom Wilson as a Hab? No fucking way. If there was such a thing, Wilson would have already won several (Matt) Cooke trophies, and we don't want that sort of low-class barbarian on our team. That said, go back and look at the handshake between Anderson and Wilson last year. They seem to respect each other.

  4. You guys are delusional as all hell thinking that Robert Thomas is ever going to be available anytime soon. Not to mention buffalo is never going to trade Thompson to the Habs without even considering that there's no way Hughes is ever going to shell out what he would cost to get especially to us smh

  5. My non-expert opinion is that Slaf's talent was wasted asking him to play statue in front of the goalie and do the dirty work for Suzuki and Caufield. Even tv "analysts" praised the move – old fashion hockey is hard to shake. Slaf never complained (except he once suggestively on tv said "They say I should stay in front of the net, so there I go ).
But Slaf is much more than that. Just watch his pre-draft highlights. We've seen flashes of that lately.
I hope they let him loose with Demidov and Kapanen.

  6. Brilliant puting slav on the 2end line ! It shows who exactly is your 3-4 line ! Kapanen fits where , newhook , is Evans the guy , like I said once you have a real 2nd line center and start hage next year on the 3erd line center , what happens to the forward group that's left ?? Who do you keep ? That's what I've been saying all year , and a bloodbath is what it's gonna be ! Those are the guys you trade high get maximum return !!!!!

  7. Slowly becoming used to the spoiler in the title being just a little bit optimistic but honestly you guys are doing amazing on consistently finding stuff and your energy is really fun. Being passionnate is what its all about keep up the good vibes!

  8. The 2nd line that started the season got wiped out with injuries.
The 3rd line became the 2nd line, then Newhook went down.
Bolduc, a sophomore, with 2 rookies was a bad idea for the 2nd line.
Evans suddenly became a 3rd line centre.
Slaf at 21 yrs old has more experience than 7 players on the roster.
They have 5 rookies and 2 sophomores. More are coming.
Trade for a 2C to fix "the team" and start winning now?
    Hilarious stuff.
They're doing pretty good considering the situation.
Remove the 2nd line from any other team and watch them collapse.
From 2022 the Habs drafted 39 players, 11 above normal.
A rebuilding team has lots of pieces in the pipe to work with.
