  1. Good game…showed s9me heart. If this is what we can expect well hell it .get just be a turn around. Now that being said, Skinner still has to learn to play goal. He got lucky a few times that the pucks didn't get through the screens cause he would have been screwed. Let's see what Wednesday brings. One game is just one game but let's hope it continues

  2. I am pleased with the Oiler win. That should elongate Knobs tenure for a bit longer so the Oilers can continue their pathetic season and more fan negativity 😅

  3. Rosi has looked really good, I know it’s soooo far away, but lowkey, a Podz-Drai-Beryozkin line next year might be kinda crazy if they can bring him over. Podz game has been looking really good.

  4. I don’t know how Greer didn’t get a match penalty for the takedown on Fredric that is such a non hockey play I could have been very bad if Fredric head hits the ice first. They were not fighting two guys trying to take each other down it was one guy pulling the feet out from under a guy and slamming a defenceless player to the ice in my opinion that’s a match penalty for attempt to injure non hockey player
Loved the effort tonight but I’m not waving the victory flag yet this was a team highly motivated to play a team they hate not just for the one ice but for all the shit talking and disrespect the panthers did after they won the cup

  5. great to win this… better to be 1 over .500 vs 1 below !!!!! thru 24 games 1/4 of Season. Skinner made some terrific saves. Nice to have Clattenb.. Frederic still looks very overpaid.

  6. Lots of good signs. The D seems to almost pulled their heads out of their asses. Almost. Pretty clear mcdrai were pretty gassed. But the depth had their back tonight. The road trip from hell ends with a .500 record. Considering how lacklustre they have looked at times, I’m encouraged!

  7. Dammit man! I wish I could have watched this one with ya! This looked like a blast to watch! Definitely would have been in with the super chats of if I could have. This Clattenburg looks like he could be little bit of a missing ingredient

  8. Don't underestimate empty net goals! Do you remember last year? They were not able to score an empty net goal no matter how.

  9. Florida played without 7 top players and still had a chance ))😇 No Barkov , no Luostarinen , no Gadjovich and no Matthew Tkachuk 😂 That's like taking out McDavid and Leon out from Oil😜

  10. Bob's age really showing tonight. Guy looked like a geriatric at times, when getting up.

He is definitely falling off a cliff, and this could likely be his last season. At least, it should be, imo.

.887% this season though 16. It's definitely over for Bob.

Let's see if this team can gel off this decent wrap-up to an awful eastern swing.

  11. Detroit Pistons 12 wins in a row now.
Max Verstappen wins in Las Vegas.
Lando Norris (and sadly Oscar Piastri too) gets disqualified
    OILERS BEAT PANTHERS IN REGULATION

TODAY WAS A MUTHAFAKIN GOOD DAY

  12. I don't think Regula is an NHL player to be honest. At his absolute best Regula is a complete non factor when on the ice and that is just not good enough.

  13. 7/14 points on a tough road trip. I’ll take that everyday.

And is it just me, or is Edmonton very slowly starting to find themselves. 6 of the next 8 are at home. This might be a turning point here folks.

  14. I hope that Panther fans are not using 'injury' as an excuse. Now that being said – we beat them (finally) in the regular season and they do have some top players out and Ekblad a game time scratch definitely hurts them BUT this was the last of our 7 game road trip in 13 days. OUR team is exhausted and our best players (Leon, Connor) were gassed before the game even started. So Panther fans – don't go all 'we were injured' BS – we have some key injuries and our exhaustion more than trumps (no pun intended) your 'injuries'. We beat you fair and square – deal with it lol

  15. Florida’s injured players not playing doesn’t matter. Most teams have top guys out right now including the Oilers. Even without Tkachuk and Barkov, they are a mean team that’s not easy to beat.

  16. Rosolvic showing off figure skating aerobatics on that Bouchard pass. The Oilers stumbled on a new play there, let's call it "shot fake jump pass" they should use that again cause Bob clearly had no idea wtf was going on haha

Btw apparently Greer had an injured hand coming in this game; I think he was angry because he already explained the injury to Fredric and assumed he was done with players trying to pick fights with him.

  17. Credit definitely doesn't go to Stu. He can only hurt the team, not help us.
No matter how he plays, he'll be under a microscope; while all other players can have ups and downs, and we are OK with them.
You can look around the world and will not find a single goalie that are consistent enough as we require of the Oiler's goalie.

  18. Hyman needs to be the C of this team. since he's back the team is grinding hard. IF they play like that for the rest of the season…playoffs no problem
