  1. I think the big question is when are Rakell and Brazzers going to be back on the roster? It seems like that is when we have a good enough team to compete. But on the other hand, even if the Pens somehow take the East, Colorado may not get to double digit losses this season and look to be pretty unstoppable.

  2. You still trade Jarry regardless. The Penguins will not win with or without him. The Penguins have a better chance winning moving forward with the young goalies we have now. Plus clearing his contract off the books will help tremendously to use the money elsewhere to bolster the rest of the lineup

  3. we need Silovs to get his confidence back before we do anything really. Ive been a fan of Silovs before he was ever on the Penguins this little slump hes in has been brutal but hes overcome this type of thing before & i believe he will overcome this one but the question is how long will that actually take. In Vancouver it took long enough that they decided to keep Lankinen over Silovs, but i really hope he can get back to his game without dipping into the ahl this time. I know we havent seen him do it for the Penguins yet but trust me IF we make playoffs he will take the net, hes just a beast in the playoffs he took the best team the Oilers ever built around McDavid to 7 games and he looked incredible doing it, and then he went on to win the calder w abby. Hes one of my favorite goalies in the whole league we need to find out how we get him out of this slump before we make any decisions that put him in the starter position. With our defense being how it is and all the injuries were dealing with i honestly think Jarry may literally be the single best mentor Silovs could have lol nobody has more experience behind terrible defense than Tristan Jarry.

  4. The broz thing bothers me but doesnt concern me. I understand that they want to keep him at center, so with that in mind this is my line up:
    Malkin- crosby- rust
    Rutger- kindel- mantha
    Hayes/novak- broz- villie
    Kop/hienen- lizzotte- dewar
I think with rakel out we need to see malkin with sid to get a more dominant 1st line.

  5. Silovs is not an NHL caliber goaltender, it's becoming more apparent with every game. 8 goals on 19 shots. Why do you think the Canucks gave him up? Jarry is by far, the best goaltender we have… if he's gone, the season is lost.😑👍
