The issue with trading for Quinn is that you can’t negotiate an extension rn, so you reasonably are trading for two guaranteed seasons. I’m thinking the Fiala trade to LA with the Wild getting a mid first and a decent prospect in Faber back with just a slightly more premium prospect as the return.

New Jersey has Simon Nemec. Nemec plus a first rounder and Vancouver should jump at that before they find they can't sign Hughes.
