That 3rd line is encouraging. Keep broz at center. Ditch novak for rut (when healthy) and you can elevate kindel w malkin instead of hayes.
I know you guys said Novak doesn't hurt on possessions, but to me it seems like the puck can't stay on his stick when he has it. Either it jumps off his blade on an incoming pass, he spins or turns and loses it to opposition, a lot of the times it comes to him, especially in offensive zone it seems like the team is suddenly retreating defensively. We definitely needs players back off injuries because it seems as though the speed and attack of this team has been depleted in their absence.
Thrilled Broz is up. Now get Hayes out of the lineup. He’s awful. I have no idea why he’s playing, let alone on line 2. He should be in the press box but somehow Poulin gets like 2 games and then returned to Wilkes? No idea what that’s about

Jerry hasn't proved himself yet…… every year when it matters he fails the team. He sucks. So what he has some good moments, the only thing he has ever been consistent with is inconsistencies. I hope he gets traded. I lost hope in him years ago he constantly shots the bed. I'm sure he will shit all over the ice when he returns. He should of been kept in ahl or just bu him out and send him away. He suuuuucks. He'd do more for Pittsburgh playing for Philly.
Vegas or Winnipeg could be landing spots for Jarry since both Adin Hill and Hellebuyck are out for over a month. Both teams play pretty solid defense.
Perfect scenario/crazy take would be the pens are able to trade Heinen, K. Hayes, Novak, Clifton, and Dumba and bring in Minty from Anaheim, Lambert and Heinola from WPG and let the youth movement take over. Lambert and Minty spend a bit, if not the rest of the season in the AHL to get the right development.

Novak and Koivunen have to start producing. They have a total of 2 goals between them. You mentioned Edmonton being the Connor-Leon show. Well, the Pens are still just the Sid-Geno show through 21 games.
