NHL refereeing is as absolute joke, they just let a nobody 4th line goon attack Seider and force him to fight then the guy doesn't even get an instigator penalty? Kastelic is a POS, I hope they call up Watson for Tuesdays game so he can F him up

The sweeds are talented but soft.
When you draft alot of European players their nature is NOT to hit. They have to be taught that it works and must be done. They don't fight over there so none do that either. Teach them to at least protect themselves. Seider cannot.
As far as the trade? Dream on. Yzerman will never spend more than what he is paying his current stars. Never.
PLEASE NO MORE DAVID PERRON TALK, PLEASE! The guy is the slowest player in the league and takes the stupidest penalties at the worst times. Even when he "stood up" for Larkin he ended up getting the wrong guy and took a 5 minute major that negated any powerplay time the Wings would have gotten
I think the most intriguing trade is for Owen Power, you get another giant defenseman who can skate with offensive ability, he can compete with Edvinsson for top line with Seider, top 4 D would be elite and they're all under 25, could be your top 4 for a decade. Buffalo also has an abundance of left handed D and Power needs a change of scenery.
Hear me out you get Rasmus Andersson from Calgary, Buffalo really needs a right handed D and he couple play with fellow Swede Dahlin, You send Berggren, Dylan James, Wallinder or Johansson, Rasmussen, draft picks, Calgary has a lot of needs and could get that trade done.
Then to Buffao you send Andersson, 1 or more 1st round draft picks who are top 10 protected, or top 5 protected. If Calgary doesn't want Berggren or Rasmussen you could send them. Buffalo actually might be interested in some veteran leadership which they need like Chiarot who is from Hamilton right next to Buffalo, Compher 50% retained and you could get another team to retain. Buffalo needs goaltending you could send GIbson if he doesn't have Buffalo on his no trade list, Rudy Guimond they would probably be interested in and is expendable, Anton Johansson I would love to keep but you could include him or some other prospects like Kiiskinen,
I really think a 3 way trade like this could make sense for all the teams involved.
