  1. Hi S+M, just wondered if the toques with Dryden mask are avail for purchase on your site somewhere? I always enjoy your takes … the back-and-forths are interesting too. Keep it up! GHG!!

  2. If MONTREAL doesn't feel comfortable with OLIVER KAPANEN as their second line CENTER of the FUTURE……….. IF he can reach 20 GOALS 30 ASSISTS
His trade value will be ASTRONOMICAL this off-season……………..

  3. Instead of ROR, should the Habs wait a bit and target Ryan McLeod from the Buffalo Sabres? He's younger, signed to a superb contract, and he's a true 200-foot center!

  4. Also, those numbers for the slaf with Suzi and Caufield versus bolduc don't take into account that Bolduc at first was playing with an injured Suzuki. So now that Suzuki is hopefully getting healthy, hopefully the numbers will come up.

  5. Unfortunately living in Manitoba I never get to see the games because of the flipping regional coverage on TSN. šŸ™„

  6. I think people should remember that when Bolduc joined the line Nick was still unhealthy. When did Bolduc breakout? Vs the Mammoth right? Isn’t that the game we all said yup Nick is healthy again. Everything runs through Nick. A top 2C would make this team very dangerous. Imagine what Nick would look like then. Team Hugo will figure that out. Cheers.

  7. On Tony’s show at start of the week he had an advanced stats fella on there saying that with Bolduc on the top line they were now worst expected offence. When Bolduc joined the line Nick was still hobbling. How’s that top line look now that he’s healthy the last two games. Dominating again. Things are relative. I think Bolduc can play with them just fine and slaf will gain leadership and confidence leading the 2nd line

  8. Two ways to look at Monty's excellent performance. One is he found himself, the other is even a broken clock gives you the right time twice a day

    Time will tell

  9. I agree with Marco, Montreal is not a legitimate cup contender so mgmt should remain patient and not try to rush it.

If Montreal can get over their sputtering goaltending issue they can make the playoffs which is their ultimate goal.

Their players and mgmt need to have the pressure cooker of the playoffs experience.

They will know what they are missing or what to improve to become a legitimate contender for the Cup.
