Sam Bennett, Panthers Postgame: Florida Rally Falls Short in Stanley Cup Rematch v Edmonton Oilers

The Panthers beat the Oilers in the 2024 and 2025 Stanley Cup Final.

Edmonton led 4-1 early in the second with Daniil Tarasov coming in; he stopped all 12 shots he faced. Edmonton led 4-3 going into the third and scored its final two goals into an empty net.

Anton Lundell and Mackie Samoskevich each had a goal and an assist for Florida, which was playing without defenseman Aaron Ekblad.

Sam Reinhart extended his scoring streak to six games with a goal that made it 4-3 in the second.

Florida is off to Nashville and will play the Predators on Monday night.

    The only time I love these Panthers stars is when they play for Team Canada. Other than that, I hate them all. They are cheaters. All of them. But in the Olympics, you can't cheat now, can you? Of course not. Nobody is getting paid. Gold isn't money, it's a mineral.

    Что Сэм Бэннет……Ойлерз знают кто не дает им выигрывать КС, это Боб и сделали все возможное, чтобы забить уже на 30 секунде, наверное это и вывело Боба из равновесия и у него не задался день…….вообще после непростого матча с дьяволами, где он сражался все 60 минут в постоянном напряжении, Бобу нужно было дать отдохнуть и ставить на ворота с самого начала Тарасова……но тренеру видней……ничего страшного, вот в финале КС, когда снова будете играть против Эдмонтона, обязательно выиграете! Вперед чемпионы!

    Panthers overpay Sam Bennett when he’s not even trying that hard because he’s too scared to get hurt because he wants to go to the Olympics. He needs to give the Panthers back their money and call team Canada to get paid. I wouldn’t care if we traded him.
