lol thats why you buy pro stock sticks and not composite… no nhl goalie uses a composite stick, they all use pro stock foam core stick, cost about 99 bucks each and you can get 3 for 270$ lol. on top of that theres no vibration on your arm when you make a chip save with your stick, you can play the puck alot better also.
lol yeah he embelished it, but shaw still ran him over and hit him in the head and it was not an accident. at least hes not doing like all those canucks and bruins players diving everywhere as soon as a stick comes close to their skates.
I think that during an 82-game schedule, a goalie is likely to lose their cool 1 or 2 times during the season. Which is ok the way I see it. When it happens a little too often, then it becomes a problem (i.e. Ilya Bryzgalov, Tuukka Rask). Even though this was when we had a 48-game schedule, I think the same concept applies, seeing this was the only time Smith broke his stick out of frustration that season.

Haha sometimes when I play hockey and I give up a goal I want to do that, but cant afford another $230 goalie stick lol.
