  1. lalimes desperately in love with this girl and smiling all the time😂 ross: great you put some names in several times🙂 tough loss, though expected. still hoping for 4 pts next 3, but getting less likely. might drop away from our good position …

  2. Honestly the refs stole this one. The league better investigate their fan duel accounts. I thought this was the best game the sens played all year they deserved the win. If they keep playing that way they are making the playoffs. I thought especially tonight Sanderson had a great game, Nick Cousins played the most disciplined game I've ever seen him play, Jordan Spence demonstrated his skating ability in a game with very little space he achieved some nice zone entries, he's looking like a great addition I have high confidence in that guy, great performances from everyone else Bathers on, Timmy of course was elite, Giroux, etc. Genuinely an incredible team effort there was 100% effort and buy in out there. Frustrating that it was ruined by the refs there's no other way to put it, those calls and non calls are not explainable or excusable. But this is something the NHL has had a problem with now for a decade. We have to say it officiating in the NHL is not serious, it's laughable and it is getting in the way of the sport being taken more seriously. The integrity of competition requires good officiating and the NHL doesn't have it. MLB and NFL officiating is very tight in comparison. In the NHL we have video replays a second after a call and can all see how they got it wrong, or didn't call it. And the age old excuse in hockey of "it's so hard out there, it's too fast, they have a tough job". No. They don't. Being a particle phycisist is a hard job. Being an NHL ref is the equivalent of flipping burgers at McDonald's. This is a simple job, we have cameras, we have slow mo, we have AI, we have enough real estate that there can be refs BEHIND the boards (imagine that concept). So anyway credit to the sens for a great game played. I'm glad you named the refs – name and shame is the only path forward. Until all hockey media does it on a regular basis the league won't make an effort to improve it. No ref should be harassed or threatened or anything like that – but they should be shamed for obvious malfeasance (probably due to bias, or sports betting).

  3. From a new hockey watcher I thought Stützle dominated last night on the ice but like folks have said the refs were definitely against him in moments. Some of these shots are going to start going in though, he’s getting the volume and the looks are great!

  4. What a great guest. I'm always interested in why a fanatical Sens fan lives in a US city. Maybe i missed it but can you just say: "Works with an it company/met her husband there/family thing whatever…"

  5. My problem with officiating right now is each team gets the same amount of power plays a game. Teams playing undisciplined don’t get punished for playing undisciplined anymore. Not that the kings are a dirty team but there was at least 4 miss calls I counted. Our power play is a whole other issue haha

  6. It may be a good powerplay strategy to dump the puck in …. as long as you can retake it. I almost never blame the refs, but last night was too much … they stole the Sens …
