Dude, the rebuild consisted of hitting on 4 very high draft picks and a star free agent that only wanted to play for one team. That’s it. That’s not a team. 5 guys. How many goalies? How many #1 goalies? How many D? How many Foligno character players who are helicoptered in at the end of the season to lead in the playoffs? They aren’t there long enough to be part of the leadership of the team. Truth: Toronto hasn’t won more than 2 playoff rounds ever. Last team to win in a 6 team league and hasn’t ever made the finals since expansion in the fall of 1967. I was -4 years old.

The GMs should consider more about ehat style of hockey their coach is asking from their team. Maccelli for example, a square peg in a round hole. And Carolina has done it twice in one year now, first Rantanen and now Ehlers, guys who need to play with puck, were both aquired for a dump and chase (not really, as instead of dumping they take a ton of low percent shots) hustlehustle coach. Surprise, neither really worked as well as they can (ay least Rantanen has showed that he can dominate in right environment, I think Ehlers should also be closer to point per game player than he is now… only 4 goals in 24 games!).

Hey Steve. panther fan here, went to many games with only 1000 fans in the arena for many years. Can’t help wanting the Leafs to win and be competitive. Leaf fans are great, would nice to see y’all rewarded for your loyalty great to talk with when you come to panther games…of course just not against the panthers. Love your podcast and your passion. Went to panther game today and watched us lose a two goal lead again to non playoff team.

Morgan Riley in the league ten years hasn't got a clue how to play defense he doesn't look to see if there is anybody behind him he just stands there and watches the guys score and it seems nobody says anything to him Nylander makes a mistake he is raked on the bench getting hard to watch

Your Finnish "do something" is in wrong form. Tehdä jotain is in first infinitive meaning "to do something". To get the order form of "do something" tehdä needs to be in second person present imperative modus "tee". It should be Tee jotain!.
