When is saw the knights lose to ottawa i knew montreal had a chance and yes they did
The Knights always lose early games, usually by a shutout. Montreals 3rd goal was assisted by Marner taking the puck within a few feet of the Montreal net and refusing to even attempt a shot. The turnover resulted in Montreals goal. If Marner even takes a shot it nullifies that 3rd goal. 90% of Knights shots were directly into the goalies Canadien Crest. Knights were not sharp.

Habs played a great defensive game except for that one goal. Monty is back.
Love watching Vegas lose , such a entitled franchise , hope they never Wina Cup again .
VGK should put Richard Harris in net, he's so greasy he could slide around in the crease and make all the big stops!
