Does the shootout debate have sth to do with the point system debate/loser point. Im surprised league still hasn't gone to 3 for regulation win and then 2 for OT/SHOOTOUT win. Thoughts on OT/SHOOTOUT losses being considered the same?

I had ZERO concerns going into the shootout. Eichel and Marner and them guys are nasty. But we, by far, had the better goalie.

3:05 I tend to disagree if we are judging by the standards of this season. I was watching with my dad who absolutely hates how boring overtime this year is and how players constantly leave the offensive zone for no good reason, especially when they head back to their own zone, yet he really didn’t complain much and when he did, it was more because our guy was forced to retreat because he didn’t have enough support. We watched the Carolina Vancouver game earlier this month and oh boy that OT was much worse. At least both teams in this Sens game had their chances and there wasn’t much retreating
That's wild that Sens are the only canadian team in a playoff spot right now! They are finding ways to win without their captain and I've never been more impressed with this team what they are pulling off right now.
