  1. You have to think the Colorado is gonna come back to earth a little bit. I love Wedgewood, but I think the more games that he plays the less effective. He’s going to be. He’s not going to be good. I’m sure he will come back to Earth a little bit too.

  2. Here is my turkey day marks, Jim Nills could be gm of the year again for making Gully head coach! Uber impressed with Gully, love the style of play much better than last year. I know they have already crowned Quinville head coach of the year but I will take Gully.

  3. I like this stars team they play hard like I haven’t ever seen, I love the 4 th line. The penalty kill one the game last night

  4. I think about how last year almost every game was "the Stars don't win pretty" "the Stars squeak out a win" "the goaltending won that game". This season feels like the Stars are playing good hockey. They're earning their wins. They take ownership of their execution in all three zones. I'm always cautious. First game back after a road trip is always tough (ask Edmonton). And you have to still reincorporate Duchene and Nils and Harley and hopefully still keep the structure. I don't need the Presidents trophy, let the Avs have it, but this Stars team feels like a true contender. Way more than they did last year.

  5. USA roster is wild. Robertsons on the bubble, but you know who are shoe ins? Austin Matthews… Jack Hughes… Brady Tkachuk… Matthew Tkachuk. Guys who , yeah, have a lot of good season behind them, but have been injured most of the season. Most will just be getting back into it when the Olympics happen. Robertson has more post season games than most of them. But he's on the bubble. Make it make sense.
