Trade panarin, im tired of his passing give aways and defensive play. Yes he scored and assisted, but prior to that he could have given the game away letting jarvis walk around him like he was standing still, didnt even attempt to stop him.
The Panarin situation is a damned if you do, damned if you don't.
He is declining – but without that scoring, do we even make post season?
His performance has fallen off – but who is ready to step up?
He's probably leaving – but who's available on the market to score even half the points?

Panarin is not going to be traded at this point, especially to Carolina. If he's traded it will be at the deadline, probably to a team in the running for Lord Stanley. Even at his age I think he can bring back a good haul. including picking up another first to build to the future. Great play by Robertson from the point on the Laba goal. And playing his off side too. Love the Laba line, with the energy bunnies Laba & Berard buzzing. Sheary out & Brodzinski in a definite plus. Brennan Othmann broke out of his funk last night in Hartford on a line with Roobroeck & Chmelar. Like Berard he lost confidence being sent down. Had 6 shots on goal.
Nobody is giving up a first round pick for a regressing 34 year old forward, going on 35 this year that also vanishes in the big moments when he's needed most. Let's be real here, Panarin is just gonna walk at the end of the season. His full NMC gives him so much leverage and basically impossible to move him, unless he himself agrees.

Hear me outā¦. We have back to back games coming up and that means garand will probably play. What if just what if , garand goes out and plays great and puts eyes on him from other teams. Or what if quick is out for a little longer than expected and garand puts good enough numbers up to be a high target from other teams. That gives us room and an opportunity to trade a goalie that we really donāt need at all with shesterkin getting paid 11.5. And room to not lose any āstarā players while maybe getting a 2-5 mil player or something like that ..just a thought mainly a throw up holy Mary š¤£ also so many teams I feel like would love to have him and probably start him over there .800% goalies
We need depth in scoring. What used to be a strength on the wings has turned into a weakness. With J.T. back , I would prefer to let our centers play center.
I'm not sure what we would give away, we don't have anyone left. Neither does Friedman apparently. That guy's a name dropper. If the Rangers stay in the wildcard there's very little chance Drury will move Breadman. He would sign and trade him in the summer. Dolan will have Drurys head if they miss the playoffs again, so rebuilding isn't an option until we completely crash and burn. So if we stay close, mark my words, Pararin stays. šš¦Happy Thanksgiving!
